About
The Tallahassee Leon County Responsible Decision Making Coalition
(RDMC) is a community coalition comprised of parents, law
enforcement, businesses, health providers, youth, colleges,
universities and other community members.
Our mission is
to provide leadership for the Tallahassee/Leon County community to
develop and evaluate strategies that encourage school age and
college age students to make safe, healthy and responsible
decisions, particularly related to alcohol and other drug use.
The RDMC will be the community resource for data and best practices
for prevention programming and activities consistent with its
mission statement.
The Coalition
participates in the Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive
Grant along with 57 county coalitions statewide to address substance
abuse problems at the community level. This initiative brings
together the community to develop comprehensive solutions to their
substance abuse problems.
